How to Get Editing Help
Get a sample edit of a paragraph or a page and a project quote (not an hourly rate).

Step 1
Send an email to request a free quote. Tell me your purpose or assignment (the exact wording is helpful if it is a university course submission), include your timeline, and attach a copy of your draft paper or a chapter of your book manuscript and the table of contents.
Step 2
I will send you a sample edit (one paragraph or one page, depending on what you send me) so you will see exactly what you will receive. I will tell you what services I recommend for your draft and the cost, and I will confirm the scheduling based on your deadline and my availability.
Step 3
We agree on terms (type of service, cost, and scheduling) and sign a Letter of Agreement. For developmental (substantive) editing, copyediting, or proofreading, payment is due in full before editing begins. For mentoring, half of the payment is due before we begin, and the balance is due before editing begins on your final draft. Payment is made by Interac transfer in CAD or by bank transfer in USD (U.S. or Canadian banking) or JPY (Japanese banking).
